Is your reply rate normal?

Four questions. No sign-up, no email. Answer them and see your own rate against the median in your field.

Nobody has answered yet. Be the first.

The total you sent in the period you pick below.

Rejections count. What is being measured is not whether you got the job — it is whether a person ever looked at your application.

Where does this number come from?

  • Entirely from what people filling in this form report about themselves. It is not mixed with the application data the product collects — one is self-reported, the other measured, and pooling them into one average would corrupt the figure.
  • We use the median, not the mean. Answers are anonymous, so one person can answer more than once and an extreme value can be sent deliberately; a median barely moves under either, a mean is at their mercy.
  • Answers covering a short period tend to read low: applications sent recently may not have had time to be answered yet.
  • No identifier is stored — no email, no IP address, no cookie. Every field is picked from a fixed list; no free text is collected.
